Thanksgiving Breakfast

This year I decided that before I got cooking, and the guests arrived, I would sit down with the family and have a nice relaxed breakfast. So, I set the table in the kitchen with festive fall elements to make it special.
The view outside seemed to sense my mood, and the Bradford Pear was in full color!

I used a few everyday items, and just enough of
the Evesham china to make it "special"

Evesham soup bowl layered over the Block everyday.
The charger is a brown translucent glass that has a
tree bark pattern.

No, I'm not serving soup for breakfast, but
the tureendoes keep those
wonderful cheesy eggs my husband makes for
 holiday breakfasts, nice and hot!

Close up of the Tureen. I love the little
 acorn accents-
so fall -like!

Of course there is a rooster nearby!

Ok, one more view before I get to work!

Alright, maybe one more.

Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. That looks just beautiful! I wouldn't be able to leave the table! Our Bradford Pear is the same color right now. Next week it will probably be winter bare! :(

  2. With a table as warm and welcoming as that, I'm not sure I'd want to get up to make Thanksgiving dinner.

  4. Love the idea of a special Thanksgiving breakfast. My family does it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have traditional food that we eat every year.
